Installation of Marconi 100 Amp and 50 Amp rectifiers.  Running power cables, 777, 535 and 4/0, and terminating at power platforms and BDFB.  Other duties included the installation of battery strings (-48 volt) dipping inner cells, and lacing.  Grounding equipment, crimping and use of power tools.

S.com. Inc., Pompano Beach, FL - RBS Field Engineer

Installation of Ericsson GSM 2206 and RBS 884 and 882, 1900 MHz and 850 MHz radio base stations.  Duties also included the installation of Emerson, Ratelco, C&D, and Marconi power plants, connecting to HD900 strings of batteries with 4/0 copper cable. Wire wrapping the DSX panel and all aspects of the 19” telco facility rack. This was a contract for Cingular Wireless.

Installation of battery strings and power platforms (+24-volt and –48-volt) mounting and bracing of power platforms and telecom facility bays; Additional responsibilities included grounding of all equipment to ground bar and/or halo ground, connecting alarms and thermal compensators and installation of Marconi rectifier shelves and rectifiers.

Ericsson Wireless Communications, Boca Raton, FL – RBS Senior Installer

Worked exclusively on Ericsson's "Condor Project", building cell sites throughout major metropolitan markets in the Southeastern United States. In addition to the set-up of cell sites and the installation of RF equipment, job duties included running power cables to rectifier and termination of power to rectifier. Was also responsible for training new employees and sub-contractors on running power. Experience with TDMA / CDMA 800 MHz and 1900 Mhz, RBS 2000 series.
